Hunter, Altho i havent been at Branns Mills this year..in "normal" years..they fish it mid december..i just checked a cold water coastal pond this eve..i was pleasantly surprised to see someone fishing on 4 solid inches...so im gonna go out on a limb and...you SHOULD be mint!!! plus...i read somewhere the brookie population went up

Weekend before last I fished it and there was 8 inches of ice and snowmobiles racing from one end to the other. I didnt catch anything but a couple of small pickerel though.
