I take you hunt feathered game as well,whats your favorite bird to hunt?
Have you done much hunting since the opener?

i hunt grouse and woodcock but its been a slow year up here. went to the allagash the first couple days. one bird. other hunters had the same amount of luck. anyone else doin' this bad?

  Yes I love to go birding. I have a chocolate lab that is trained for upland birds and does well. I only have been acouple of times and have got two patridge. Still alot of leaves and the weather has not been cooperating. Soon we will go after the sea ducks. I enjoy shooting the eiders the most. They are a big bird and are alot of fun to go after.
