East Okoboji YB

Toying with driving up to the IGL's on New Years Day and thinking I'd try for walleye on Spirit before/during sunrise and then move over to East Okoboji to try and chase yellow bass.  It'd be my first time fishing Boji and was wondering if anybody could offer any advise? I'm sure I'll have to stay mobile to try and find and stay on them but any idea for places to park and walk in at would be appreciated, thanks!

Fish early on East for eye's, plenty in there. In front of Parks Marina is where I'd fish, not sure if you can park there but you can access there. Call them.

Any idea how much ice on west lake? Im heading up this weekend, its supposed to he in the low 40's for high.
