I can't wait to shoot some snows. Let me know if you need company!!!

Snows in fingerlakes and as far north as quebec border. Middlecreek PA has been holding 70k on average. Should see a push into montezuma early next week

typically they are here in numbers around the second week of March

Starting monday we have 3 days of temps in 50s and south winds. Snows will be pushing out of PA and NJ for sure. Already couple decent feeds in central and southern NY. Dark geese in good numbers locally also. Here is link to PA middle creek live cam. Give you very good idea of stages of migration.

I know it takes longer than 10 minutes. You not only can't catch fish but can't tell time. Lol

I saw a good sized flock in the Skaneateles area yesterday morning.
They are pretty cool to see, in the air or on the ground.
My waterfowling days are just a memory now, but lots of good ones.

How is the boat launch at Union Springs looking? Any water? I have a 16 foot lund. Any update would be appreciated! Thank you!
I never could read no road map,
I don't know what the weather might do.
But hear that witch wind whining,
and see that dog star shinin',
I got a feeling there's no time to lose,

Will try to check for myself, Cayuga should have plenty of perch this spring being none were taken thru the ice that never happened this year. Thinking it is going to be a early boat season if the levels are up enough to get a boat. There is a new boat launch at mud lock tho. That isn't as bad in low water.

I hear you, need a bit more water on the north end before I can get my boat in my favorite spot.

I wouldn't  plan on using the union springs launch any time soon. It's going thru major upgrade going to 6 lanes. It's all formed up for concrete ramps. Hope they are dredging a channel out to deeper water too or all for not for the spring fisherman.

Hit Bass Pro and the snows were cranking Friday wave by wave of them. Looked like a pile of them were in the fields just south and many many more headed north.
