Best place to send to get Auger blades sharpened
« on: Sep 13, 2018, 10:56 AM »
I moved to Colorado and nobody in the area sharpens Strikemaster Laser Blades.  Where should I send 4 set out.  Why four, Wyoming blowing sand everywhere chews them up really fast.

I saw them and only can send three sets at a time, have you used them before?

I have, i exchanged blades a few seasons ago. Strikemaster.
I was satisfied with the blades they gave me. I am local so I was able to go through the blades with them

I used Fran Connelly last year, don't know if he has a website besides this facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/IceAugerSharpening/

Got my blades back pretty quick, good as new. I think he was one of the lower priced options when I was looking around too.

https://www.fish307.com/auger-blade-sharpening/

From their site

Instructions
1.Remove your blades from your auger and keep your bolt assemblies.
2.Reference the pricing table below to figure out your total.
3.Make your check or money order out to FISH307 for the total.
4.Fill in the form below. You can type in the boxes.
5.Print the page and cut out the form.
6.Mail your blades, check or money order (sorry, no C.O.D.) and the form to:

FISH307.com
 6 State Route 149
 Lake George, NY 12845

7.Please do not tape blades & Please Keep Your Blades In Sets of 2 (if applicable)
8.Shipping charges apply for up to 3 sets of blades in one package. For 4 or more sets of blades in one package, add $1 per set - )

May want to call them ...I am a little foggy on the math as to the total but a phone call/Email could fix that I'm certain.

You're not reading the chart correctly. The return shipping charge is $4.95 for 1, 2 or 3 sets of blades. The return shipping for 4 sets
would be $5.95. ($4.95 + $1.00 for the fourth set)

Thanks for the feedback jrjach75. Always wanting to know how the blades worked. This year will be 19yrs working the grinding wheels.

No web site just the facebook page.
