Vexilar float bouncing
« on: Feb 14, 2010, 08:26 AM »
I drill two holes, one for the transducer and one for fishing.  Last night I was fishing, watching the Vexilar, when I saw the
transducer float bounce.  I kept watching it, and sure enough, something was repeatedly bumping it!  I pulled my bibbit up to just below the ice.  Looking in the hole I could see a fish.  Ended up catching it, a hefty 13" bullhead!  Anyone else experience this?

I was fishing Lake Fairlee Friday afternoon and at dusk a huge red mark showed up on my Vexilar then the cord moved.  Looked down and there was a big bullhead sitting down there.
