brought a good friend and his young son fishing at dam today figured it would be fast perch fishing which is good for a kid but to my surprise it was kind of slow today , only 50 perch bettween 3 of us . but my friends young son did hook into a very large walleye . he had just broke his line and i figured he had got it caught on a log or such so i let him use my extra pole which had a #4n swedish pimple on it so he only had it in the water for maybe 3 min. when i heard the reel start winding out . he was yelling and reeling away so i ran to help and told him to stop reeling and when he did the line kept going out thats when i new he wasnt hung but had a nice fish on . got its head to the hole and the line broke, he was devastated and so were we. that was awsome watching that kid work that fish, he is hooked now on hard water fishing. p.s if any catches jaws at chittenden can i get my lure back.
