Island pond

Hello, me and a couple buddies are planning on coming up this weekend, as we have a friend who has a cabin near Island pond. Anyone know if ice fishing is good there, and how much ice. I see a few lakes within a 20/30 minute drive. Any better spots? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ice was good this past weekend but 60 today, Monday. No promises this weekend

I was on IP on 2/29, I can say there was plenty of ice, but the snow and slush on top was up to my knees in places where you break through the crust. I am pretty sure with the weather yesterday and today, the going will be tough.
Fishing can be really good, with a wide variety of species. What are you targeting?
