Mud, where is the 5 gallon bucket lids to keep the kids feet above ice?? lol Gotta love that story! Seems like Gull Lake took its tole on a few of us ice fishermen!

JC, looks like you took one of my pics from one of my previous posts,LOL. I was debating between it and a couple others. Here it is, taken March 30th. This is a hole I drilled all the way down before I had to put the extension on.

This is a pic of the lake I fish here at home. I thought it was a nice pic so I put it in a frame. And the bottle of Ice Hole that attacked me while fishing the JPS derby.

OK, one of us actually on the ice. Notice Bruce holding the auger (with the wet pants) notice the size of my auger, need I say more? Those holes were sucking everyone in last year. Got me 3 times. This group of guys were from Ma, Ny, Nh, and Ct. Great day. Not our dog?

this one is kind of blurry, but it ended up being one of the best day i had ice fishing ever. it is a remote lake that took me an hour to walk into and there was nobody around.

this is what i caught
15 1/4 inch and 2.39lb yellow perch

and then me and a buddy caught these a couple weeks later from the same lake

still waiting to get my three back from the taxidermist. and we are now going to throw anymore we catch back hoping to get the next state record out of this lake.

hehehe...... I almost lost my husky down the hole last winter!!!!! Them 10" and up augers should come with warnings and PFD's!!!!!

use to have a 12 in. hole, but was a bit much. now i am down to a ten, but lost a couple things.and now i am contemplating a 8 in. hole, but some of the fish i get won:t come through. hmmm

Escanaba harbor (Upper Michigan) during a warm spell early in the season last year.........sucked i couldn't get to my shack cause the whole shore was open water! mines the red and white.
