This year has been unreal perch fishing on one of our smaller lakes.  A good day before this year would be 15-20 perch this year if you don't get close to 100 it's a bad day.  I took a buddy and his girlfriend out yesterday she's never been ice fishing before.. Well she nailed them yesterday between the three of us we got 140-160 perch it was so much fun

The funny part is that I go to the exact same spot on the lake everytime.. I don't move of anything
and they are ALWAYS THERE!!!
The guys beside us were no more than 70 feet away and got like 3 all day
they kept getting closer and closer at the end of the day they were drilling holes 20 feet from my tip ups

Hey YUM YUM.  I freeze my perch fillets with water in the hard plastic containers I get from Chinese restaurants or deli's take out (take away if your English).  The water prevents burn and the container packs nicely in the freezer.  Happy eating!
