Never tried sardines, but have used and seen used: Herring, Whiting, Makeral, etc. They work.

^I wish we could use goldens up here. In CT its legal and we do very well with them. Although I caught a 14 lber today on a 3-4 inch Arkansas, so sometimes you never know

Yea and I got one last year that was dam near 29. Same size bait. Then this year we are off to an ok start. 25 15 11 and 9. You still fishing glen a lot.

^yup, I'll be fishing Glen once or twice a week. I've only been back up in VT for a few weeks though. 14lbs my second trip out there this year felt damn good.

That's good. What part of the lake have u been fishin if u don't mind me asking. I have not fished it yet this year. Gonna wait till late ice.
