I think he is referring to Tri County rec area near North Webster.  I have not been up that way for several weeks.  Some of the smaller ponds there may be locked up but I cannot confirm that.  I think it will be mostly channels for a week or so.  With any luck the larger lakes will be ready in another week.

He was referring to Round/Whitley county (Tri-lakes) and Tri- County. I am not sure about Tri-County, But Big Cedar, Round, and Shriner were wide open when I went by today. Lots of small bodies of water were locked up. Miller @ Chain o lakes was locked, River and Norman were partially.

Hey Slayer did you drive into the park to check on sand?  Don't figure it was locked up but figured I would ask.

Crooked Lake was open yesterday.  Wind probably making in worse.
