I was wondering if anyone could help me find a good pond or lake to get on in southern vt

Harriman Reservoir in Wilmington/Whitingham is usually good to go early January.  Decent perch and some hold over trout to be had.  They usually draw it down pretty good so watch it if you are drilling holes close to shore, you may hit the bottom and kill your blades.  I usually hit this lake until my usual spots are frozen up.
A bent rod is a good rod!

retreat meadows in brattleboro. hunts meadows. The fingers in hinsdale. All have monster pike My best is 21 pounds, 41".
chock it, pull it twice, if it dont start your out of gas.
