Medium sized shiners, fish them near the bottom.

When using tip-ups try a shiner, sucker minnow or large fathead minnow. Attach 2-3 foot monofiliment or fluorocarbon leader to the main line of your tip-up and place it a foot to foot and a half off the bottom. :)

medium shiners and/ or emeralds  experiment thats what fishing is all about try different things untill something works  thats why its so much fun too fish because when you finnally figure out how to catch them on your own its makes cathcing them feel so much better :)

Set tip ups with 3 - 4" shiners and then use #5 jigging raps tipped with a very small minnow head.
Politically incorrect, and proud of it.
