Start em young
« on: Jan 24, 2015, 06:27 PM »
Have taken the kids out on a few trips and they are loving ice fishing.  Dad has to slow down, lots of work taking the little ones out for sure :)  My oldest is almost three and youngest is six months.  They have many years of fishing a head of them and looking forward to it.  Here are a few pictures of the kids.

Starting them young costs more money.  Lost my Vexilar to my oldest daughter (8) .  My youngest daughter (4) hasn't figured out how to use it yet, but I am sure it will only be a matter of time before we are buying her one also.
Catch a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime.

In a sense yes, but there are more expensive hobbies or bad habits they could get in to ;)  When they are old enough for electronics that means Daddy will get new electronics and the kids will get mine if they have not kicked them down the hole  already ;D
