Most reports are saying 3+ inches in the alpena area so this weekend I will be out and give a for sure measurement.

I'm across the lake and slightly west of the launch and have an access road if you need a place to put in and park a vehicle. i do have chores this weekend but hopefully will get some ice time. Send me a message if this helps and I will hook you guys up with directions.

I heard the same as you...3" with more cold on the way. :clap: Probably not enough for my hardside but i have a portable as backup.

ya know, people fish right out in front, I never have. I go across or west to the weeds. Have had success in both locations.

I usually go straight out from the launch, but this summer I did better on the other side of that little island so I might try it over there this winter

Well bully just called me and informed me that theres not even close to 4". He said maybe 1-1 1/2 so now I have no clue how much ice is in town here ???

Twink & Bully...
There were a couple of walkers on lake A Sunday afternoon, one in the weeds on the west end and the other at cooks stove reef. As I mentioned on Saturday Bully, there was around 8" of snow, 2" of slush and about 3"of hard ice. Hopefully next w/e for you guys, i wont be back until the 2nd.
