NW Angle tips

A few buddies and I are going to the NW angle and renting a sleeper house.  None of us have been through Canada for quite a while.  We all have either a passport or the mn enhanced driver licenses so we are good there.  What I am mostly looking for are what we cant bring across.  I understand we are limited to basically a case of beer or a bottle of spirits each?  As far as food is there anything specifically prohibited these days?  Any issues with specific fishing equipment for some reason?  We are fishing in US waters, not Canadian.  Any other tips would be appreciated that Im not thinking of.  Thank you.
