Paddock

Have had Paddock on my mind for the last few days with this cold weather in the valley so I thought I'd start a topic for it. Looking back at last years posts and looks like it had ice the 10th of Jan. but gone by the 21st. Also the debate if there was a good population of fish to make it worth while. Anyway if someone happens to be in the area please give us an ice report.  I may take drive myself towards end of week. TIA

Never made it up to Paddock but I did stop by Ben Ross Res. in Indian Valley last Friday (Dec 28th).  It was almost capped completely but the first 10-20 feet off the shore line was complete junk.  Couldn't even put pressure on it without it breaking.  I threw a number of rocks out onto the main sheet of ice and it seemed like good solid ice.  I was figuring that it would be worth checking again by about this time.  Hope that is helpful.
