I would like to take my wife and son to LMR this weekend. Can anyone give me an ice report. It is a 3 hour drive and kinda sucks to get there and find out the ice is bad.

With the rain coming down last night and supposedly all day today and tonight...its gonna be wet and sloppy at best!

Hey. Here is the number to the Lodge. (888) 845-7702.  They may be able to give you a pretty accurate report...just depends on who you get on the phone...but as Neptune said this rain will make it a mess. I just talked to Zimmer Tackle in Pablo (406)675-0068 and they said they had been catching a perch and some salmon but the ice was getting thin in places.
