anyone been lately?  got out last weekend and the edges were iffy.  Im sure they are getting better with this cold i just dont know how the ice faired over this week with 50 degree weather.  gonna try and get out tomorrow

one more question.  does the cooney bar sell bait?  maggotts?  if so what time do they open?  the hardware store in columbus that used to sell them went out of buisness.

I went out last weekend. The edges were melted but there was 8-12 inches of ice. I fished the south shore(first boat ramp) Used tip ups with crawlers. I caught 2 trout(bows) and 1 was 2 1/2 lbs. Early morning or late evening seems to be the best bite. Hope this helps!
