opening day brookies

 well i and some fish buds held up our opening day rituals..  found some safe hardwater, set a few traps and
 jigged a few holes. not to bad got two and lost two.  a little sloppy out there .  here is a couple of pics.


 may be a while be for we get out again, so i will savor this moment. 
 thight lines and be careful.   seeya on the water.....

Nice fish hardwater, I should have went there today but went north instead.Caught a mess of bass but no trout,lots of rain.Got on ice though,better than riding the couch.Need cold weather badly.

 hey cliff , no stink bait yet need more minnows to furment.  scott it is a sweet spot to fish.  yes that is open out near the isle. ice near the shack was 4"s, out towards the isle was 1 1/2"..  the fish are sitting on a 5 gal. bucket lid .
