When you check in you will be getting a rules sheet and on the back of that is a map with all the corner and depths at various spots.

Question;

I understand the above rule of this;
- After you register you will be permitted to set-up your ice shack and drill your holes….but you are NOT ALLOWED to put your lines in the water until the start time. Anyone found with lines in the water before the start time WILL BE DISQUALIFIED with no refund and not allowed in designated derby area.

What about putting our transducers in the water prior to the start time to verify depths?

Valid question. As for checking depths just bring water and save the drilling. I can easily beam through 2' of ice with my sonar.

Thanks for the clarification. These maps save a lot of time in getting setup.

Thanks Coldazice for this, however I was planning to use my panoptix transducer which I need to get under to ice.

There was 657 entries.
60 fish caught
53 northern pike, 6 walleye, 1 perch

First and second was a tie so the the $10000 was added to second place 4118,28 and split 7059.14.
Dayton Klasinsky and Glen Leniuk - 6.02 lb Northern Pike
3rd place 2470.97 Bailey Schmidt - 5.77 lb northern pike
4th place 1647.31 Robin Robinson - 5.61 lb northern pike
Largest walleye 3.44 lb walleye Craig Kinder $500
Largest Perch 1.19 lb perch Rick Fries - $500
50/50 6677.50 Owen Wickenhauser

There 16 major prize draws that were drawn at random plus a extra prize drawn for those you caught a fish.

This was our 10th anniversary derby and total funds raised to date is in excess of $110,000.

All proceeds will be donated back into our community or various other charities or causes that the Lions Club support.

Thank you everyone for attending again this year and braving the cold. Actually it wasn't too bad because the wind stayed down for the entire thing.

Just wanted to give a shout out to the tournament organizers and all the volunteers that braved the cold to make the derby happen!  I didn’t catch anything but enjoyed a burger and a pop and spent some $$$ on the 50/50.  Will be back next year!  :)
