Stopped by Minsi in Northampton County this afternoon.  Area near west access is ice covered.

Area off east access still open water as well as the area near the dam.

Looks like a couple more weeks needed here.

Nice pics, Bob. Thanks for keeping us posted..............so on.
80% of Americans are unhappy with the direction our once great Country is heading. Yet 80% of Americans insist on buying blue jeans that were made in China, coffee filters that were made in Taiwan and anything else that was made anywhere but here........wonder if there might be a connection?

This is very good news. I'm looking forward to giving Minsi another shot this winter. I haven't been there since I got my Vex and I read reports recently that the fishing was very good for crappies and perch (>12") in November!

If the lake had ice on the sixth, I'm guessing it might have four inches this weekend.
Does anybody know how the ice is?

I would say most poconos lakes should be iced up good enough to be out on by Sunday or mid-week. May go up Sunday to fish somewhere. It really depends how fast the rest of Minsi got iced up and if it was delayed at all by the wind. But mainly this snow may cause a delay. Might be looking at three inches or so. Also its on the top of a mountain so that helps.

IceBob?  Are you OK with us using your pic on the Minsi reports and conditions thread?  I inserted it into the lead post.  If you prefer that I don't use it then I'll remove it.  I gave you credit for the pic ;)
