About four years ago, I was walking on the ice without cleats and slipped with my LX7 in hand.  In my attempt to keep from falling, I threw my LX seven in the air about 10 feet. Everything worked fine except for one of the brackets on the back of the head unit was broken. Send it in to Marcum and they did an A+ job fixing it. I went ahead and upgraded to the LX9  at the same time and have never Looked back. Not bad customer service at all.
