on the search for bait fish

hi guys im looking to find bait fish for lmb and the spots i hit so far are dry? any ideas
even small sunnies work for me.  im in central ct
any fin will do

shetucket river worms on bottom for dace excellant bait  and try yantic river bye the stripclub juicies in norwich rite in front of it bottom of field excellant bait also dace and try puttin minnow trapps in the rivers round ur house   and  go to pig lakes and fish tiny cast masters and catch lil pickeral live line em on a treble hook under a balloonor go to ant local tiny pond wit a sabiki rig and bait it wit spikes or magots and catch shiners and u can also use mealwormson ur sabiki rig oh and wen dace fishing try to have lil to no weight hav funn post ur sucess finding bait

thanks for the advice, yeah ive been using sabiki rigs with no success around here its like its just slow lately

oh and use the tiniest hooks possible wen in tha lakes and ponds like a size twelve with a maggot under small bobber just enogh weight to keep line directly below bobber

Be carefully using Chain Pickerel as bait, it's ILLEGAL..

 Try looking for culverts off of the  nearby rivers, and dip net it, or throw a trap.     We also Seine some areas, too.   Get a friend and a 15 ft seine  ;) Do some research

a big pike would eat it,and no,  you cant legally use it as bait
