Baitcasting rod?

For those who are using a baitcasting reel; Do you use a baitcasting specific rod or are you just flipping over a spinning rod?

I've got a fiberglass bait casting rod. A rod builder I know said that if you push on a rod blank from the tip with the handle on the floor, however it naturally wants to bend is how you want to place the guides. If that being the case,a rod made for a spinning reel would be 180 degrees opposite the natural bend if set up as a bait caster. I haven't tried it that way yet but will try this year. Whether the rod is weaker that way I don't know.

I have a few flipped over spinning rods and have some baitcasting rods.  For spinning rods flipped over, you want to test to see if there's line rub on the rod blank or there's line guides twists on you.  Avoid using those spinning rods.  Mostly for me, it's about having a reel seat instead of a tennesee handle.

I use baitcast .  Try a custom builder. I paid 45 each and had mine custom made with spiral wrapped guides for jigging
