Any shanty gathering this year?

I know Dick wanted to make something happen and had commissioned me to make some food.  I am still interested if anyone else is.

There was some discussion in a recent post that we had. Apparently Keith is no longer the moderator on NH IS, so the usual gathering won't be happening.
But I know Roccus and a couple of us discussed trying to make something happen. Even just to meet up at some lake, cook some food, and talk fishing.
No plans yet, but maybe we can get something going.

As you all know, Keith put a lot of effort into the gathering - and it became a huge event with lots of food, raffles, and fun...  so if anyone see's him , please pass on my thanks for all he had done.

That said - we should be able to pull together a simple event - pick a date (soon the way the weather has been) and a location (Circus would get my vote) and everyone bring something to toss on a grill or toss back. 

Sure it won't be the same - but if someone volunteers to haul a grill - it can still be a good time of fishing and food.

At least that's my thought on the matter -
