Twas the night before christmas and out on the lake
AC was out fishing Grump, it was all he could take
He pulled in a walleye then a pike and trout
All grump could do was just to sit there and pout
BW was nestled inside where it was safe and dry
When Grump caught a perch the size of a fry
It was all AC could stand, he had to bite his lip
He knew he'd get hit if he let his laughter slip
BW was hoping he would catch todays master
Not realizing this trip was heading for disaster
Grump pulled up a walleye it was 5 inches long
AC lost his composer and the tussle was on
Grump squeezed AC's neck with all of his might
Not watching his line in the days failing light
BW grabbed Grump's line when a huge pike bit
Reeled it up and ran back inside with it
AC and Grump rolled around fighting on the ice
While BW took a bite from Grump's jerky, not once but twice
AC tapped out, Grump was far to tough to beat
While BW rumaged AC's pack for something more to eat
They put aside thier difference and went into the shack
Only to find BW finishing his snack
The pike was cleaned and bagged with great care
And he bragged about the way it fought like as bear
Grump couldn't take it, enough was enough
BW stole his fish, and eaten all his stuff
He told these two clowns he had to leave for a while
But as he drove away he had to laugh and smile
They may be silly boogers but them guys are alright
Even if they clown around and don't seem too bright
So where do you find good friends like BW and AC
