We went to Cil today and set up our Eskimo 9416 Fatfish.  One of the poles broke while setting it up.  Thankfully it didn't poke threw the tent.  Good thing I always carry hockey tape in with my fishing gear.  Taped the pole and kept on with our day.  That was the bad part.

The good part is I got to try out my new Humminbird ice 35.  It's alot harder to leave at the end of the day when you keep marking fish!

Too bad about the poles.  Did you get the newer style with the improved hub and poles?  I bought a Fatfish 949i in January and have used it four times without a problem.

Yes I bought it in Dec 2012 and the box says new design power hubs.

I'd like to get one of these while there on sale, but I don't think my tax return will come soon enough.
