right on... was just trying to figure out if arctic armor is using the same technology as the coast guards. How is the pricing on it? A guy I fish with is looking for a suit and the arctic armor don't carry his size... basically the arctic armor runs small for its size imo, and a 3x wont fit him.

first I need to get my hands on a flasher. then Im thinking a power auger, but I guess I can use a workout once in a while... Don't feel like I need a shanty yet. We will see how I feel when the temps are around zero!

I LIKE ME AA SUIT. THE ONLY THING IS THE BOTTOM OF THE LEGS GET WET AND ICE BUILDS UP ON THEM. THEY DRY QUICK AT HOME. SOME PEOPLE SAY THE OTHER SUITS WON'T DO THIS BECAUSE THEY HAVE A SLICK FINISH. UNLIKE THE CAMO SUIT. VERY WARM. AND IT FLOATS.GOT MINE LAST YEAR.ALSO GOT FREE GLOVES AND SHIPPING. GOOD LUCK. DON'T GET IT NEER A HOT LANTERN. BURNS HOLES IN IT.MELTS.

I know when it is really really cold and I am going to be all day on the lake, I stay warm. I used to dive alot until I was injured as a fireman. I still have my wet suit from diving. It really works well and it does float. I keep extremely warm and if I would fall through I float like a bobber. The only draw back is if I have to use the bathroom, ittakes a while. But I already had the wet suit so I did not have to make a large investment in the Arctic Armour. You can get the wet suits in 1/8, 1/4 and 3/8" thickness. Just a thought.
