Title: Tuppers Lake north of Placid
Post by: Jared D on Oct 29, 2014, 03:00 PM
Long time looker, first time poster here. Been away for the past two winters and missed the hard water fishing something fierce! Fished quite abit around Missoula during previous winters and have been looking into trying some new spots maybe a lot of other people do not go to or have access to in the winter. Stumbled upon Tuppers, a nice little pond north of Placid, while scouting for deer this fall and tried bank fishing it a few times with a little luck. Was wondering if anyone else has ever had luck there on the ice. Will have access to a snowmobile to get to the lake later in the year but any help would be appreciated before I make a trip out of it! Thanks in advance!!!   ---jared

Jared,
the MT fisheries information says the lake was surveyed and no fish were captured

Weird. I caught two small rainbows earlier this fall. Oh well, on to look for other spots! Thanks for the info!
