SLAMMER KIT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!

I am sold on the slammer.  I have never had any luck with trout on tip ups it looks like this is the answer.  Has any body ever use them for pike fishing.

you can love the slammer all you want though, i still dont think its worth $30 plus wood and a rod. maybe i'm just cheap and simlpe 

Wish I got the one with the rod instead of the kits as I have two broken 5' rods now.  I have not gotten a fish with it yet in the last year

I had a feeling it wasnt the kit. You should order the kit for 13 bux !! the way your trigger goes in the eye i would guess the trigger is the problem. I honestly doubt a 4 inch perch could steal bait from my slammer with out being hooked.I have never had bait stolen or ever missed a trout with my slammer 100% success(you would think i had stock in the slammer kit)I dont but i do love the "SLAMMER KIT"

no never even got a free slammer(hint hint to the slammerman) just kiding no, i really do think the slammer is way better than a hand over hand tip-up for trout.The slammer just makes it more fun using a rod and reel with light line.all or most of those fish were taken on 6# test line. Rather than hand over hand with rope on a spool. Thats just my opinion nobody take offense please   And yes we do love the slammer that much!!!!!!

Just wanted to tell slammerman that if you are looking for new rods for the slammer the lightning rod i use with mine is perfect!  I cant wait to get the slammer out this year.
