I had a pak shack and let it go. Unless you are a really small guy it is tight, obviously it is personal preference but I didnt like mine at all. It was hard to even jig because of the clearance between the seat and the front of the shack and forget about getting you flasher in there(that made it super tight. I get rid of the shack and bought a killzone for 125 off ebay and couldnt be happier.

Just my two cents. If you are a smaller guy, the pak shack might work for you. Just check it out if you havent before you buy.

I thought maybe I would try, I have never fished the lake. How is the fishing?

Have had lots of luck with jigging up perch. Decent sized fish from 10-13 inches. Last weekend a lady caught a pickerel that was close to thirty inches on a tip up. I will be there Sunday with a few friends. Maybe see some of you guys there.. I have the Black instashak..

Anyone fish Potake Pond in Rockland Co? Looks like part of it is in Passaic Co. NJ. Any access/info on this pond would be greatly appreciated.

it's a private water supply for united water. no fishing.

Saturday's target is Lake Mahopac (Yellow & Crappies). Only 2 of us so far..... anyone else interested?? We'll be there about 9AM...access is Southside Inn, 911 South Lake Blvd., Mahopac, rear parking lot. I hear rumours there are Northern Pike in there also. Never fished it before, so thjis is an exploratory trip.....we'll see what happens.

i would be surprised if there are northerns in there but its a fairly deep lake never fished it as its a bit of a trip for me but good luck

swan lake tourney has easy access ,sign up is 20 ft off of the lake 4 wheelers are allowed .lots of perch ,some big pickeral and the occaisonal bass . lake is 2 parts pretty shallow .sighn up at 6am

Better idea...next weekend is the So. Fallsburg Fire Dept. tourney on Echo Lake. How about a MASSIVE get together up there??
