Rainbows

I’m going to try and fish for some rainbows on Little lake Sunapee and have never fished for them before. Anybody got any tips like depth and type of bait etc..

Most guys fish near the steam inlets or outlets in shallow water around 5' deep or less. Small shiners or powerbait has worked for me. Many of these areas are sketchy now with thin ice so be careful near the open water. The snow will hide the ice thickness and old holes that drain water.

We have had great luck over there off to the right of the damn in about 4ft jigging crawlers. Small shiners on tip ups or red small salmon eggs work also. Good luck I fell through there 2 weeks ago so be safe and check often it went from 12” to 1” in 2 ft
