OT RICH GETTING RICHER?

Rumor has the Sox trading Lester, Coco and 2 bags of baseballs to the Twins for SANTANA! Great deal if they pull it off. Love Coco and Lester shows promise but Santana is a stud. What a rotation it would be! Let's hope this is true!!!!!

the two minor leaguers are Jed Lowrie and Justin Masterson

lowrie is a decent SS prospect, Masterson is a promising AA pitcher

crisp is done with boston

lester looks good, but i'd dump him for santana in a heartbeat

the real issue is signing santan......6 years/120 million is what it wil ltake; he is 29, older than beckett.....and they just signed beckett to about 10 mil/per

what does that say to beckett, your world series stud, that you'll go out and sign another guy for twice the dough he's making

i love the trade if it happens, but there's lots of issues to overcome, too

i haven't read the 'net today much at all, is this deal still on the table potentially?

I agree with you yukon, and I understand your point but the bottom line is that IT AIN'T MY MONEY, I don't care how they spend it. Contracts can be restructured, ego's taken care of etc....

JACOBY ELLSBURY will easily fill in the spot if coco leaves. He is already twice the player crisp is and he hasn't even had a full year in the big leagues yet!!! Besides how can we put up with that hairdo any longer?
