The lip ripper.

Well I guess it's just a home made Jaw Jacker. Gave It a maiden voyage on Sebago Saturday but never got a hit on this trap. Went out to my shack Sunday and it saw some action. It's set up for big fish with the heavy rod so the panfish didn't have much of a chance. I found I had a better hook up % when hooking the bait through the lips. Pretty neat cant wait to hook something big on it.

Nice .      I want to try a 9foot rod in one of those .  It might set the hook and pull the fish out of the hole at the same time !!!

I was thinking about trying it with a 6 foot trout rod, I think I can make a better trigger out of a down rigger release.
