Game warden Back in the field
« on: Jan 20, 2021, 03:58 PM »
Just wanted to share a tidbit I heard yesterday from a very reliable source.  I was happy to hear this and thought I would share. Some of you will recognize the name. She was IMO the best in the field warden we had in the region. Always present always patrolling doing her job well. Heidi Murphy is back out in the field as a conservation officer. She will be covering grafton county. Not sure anyone from fish and game follows this IS site but I gotta say I'm happy she will be back out in the field. Thought I would share.

I hope CO Egan heals fast, I have run into him a handful of times Ice fishing in the Burg and he’s always been a joy.

Good to hear Heidi's back in the field, Wayne.
Seems like she always enjoyed getting out of the office.
She's very pleasant to visit with.

Great news. I would say most of them are very pleasant if your following the rules. Have never had anything but friendly conversations with all of them that I have met

I also have had nothing but positive interactions with our COs. I have talked to Heidi on the phone several times and she was a pleasure, good for her.

X2 Spoken to her a good few times for work. Always quick to help and if she didn’t know an answer outright she was quick to find out for me. I know a number of them from work and they’re all good folks in my experience.

Murphy's back?  I might have to hide a Salmon in one of my pockets.  I'll do anything for a quick frisk. ;D. Heidi, if you're reading this I'm kidding.  I don't catch Salmon.

Good for her, I've never met her in person but she's always been super helpful when calling with a question.

Besides ice fishing, I'm also a falconer. Heidi is my contact in NH F&G for all things falconry. She has always been really great to work with. Though I never have met her yet. Looking forward to that.

Chris gave me a ticket (not fishing) in Errol last year, he's a class act, I considered it an honor!

Heidi is great, have encountered her more than once in the Franklin area over the years.

She stopped me today because my registration decal was covered with snow. Once she brushed it off I was free to go.

Nice pleasant chat for awhile then off they went.
