Two Men Dead in Chippewa County After Falling Thru the Ice

Two men died today after falling thru the ice on Glen Loch lake today.  We all want to get out and ice fish, but we all need to remember that safety needs to come first. 

My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the two men who drowned.

The ice is not very good yet I was on big Lco Saturday and saw a spot where someone fell through, a chair and bucket were still half sunk and partially frozen in the 6 ft dia. hole in the ice. Yesterday I went to another boat landing 2 guys were setting up tip ups I asked how thick the ice was they said 1-1/2 inch,crazy imo! We all want to get out there but there is a lot of winter left.
