Fished Bantam north bay Thursday afternoon, lots of water on the ice, where I drilled had 12", not the best looking ice, but a good amount of it, south bay looked a little more iffy, just drove by. Didn't rain much in my area today, not sure about up there, plan on heading to that area one last time on Sunday.
A smart person would watch the few that ventured to the ice sheet, the daring would follow in their boot prints, but the pioneers would already be heading to where they belong.

Fished South Bay today.  6-9 inches of ice in varying locations.  A little slushy but held up rather nice.  Fishing was very slow.

Didn't rain in my area....until now, what a freak thunderstorm line for the middle of March, stretching across the state, gonna swell some waters, for sure tomorrow, maybe Sunday is a pipe dream or a schlep up north.

Any details...did they go in getting on/off or was that a rescue situation?

They got out on their own. I think they were by the river.

Thanks for all the replies.... just got rid of my leftover bait....have decided not to chance it.

Even if I were to get that "one last outing", wondering whether or not I made a bad choice while I'm out there, that's not much fun...not for me anyway.

Hope everyone has had a good season!

See ya next time 'round.
