Fished a secret spot today. First time using minnows on tip downs at this location and mam was it game on. Caught numerous LMB with the biggest just shy of 20 inches, several large catfish, perch and crappie. You wouldnt mark anything and Bang fish on!!! Not bad for bring within city limits.....

Promised not to give out the location with the penalty of death...

I fished the same lake you were probably on this morning for a few hours and kept 9 Perch around 12" and a handful of nice sized Crappies but tossed them back. We'll have to meet up there sometime .....

There are some that feel privileged to say they have a secret spot until they get to there secret location on a Saturday morning only to realize their little honey hole isn't so sweet anymore ....

The problem is that this place has gotten "popular" with in the last year or two. Due to it's overfishing and more so it's over harvesting it will be dead in no time and will be just like any other honey hole where people don't appreciate and respect it for what it is or was. Yeah good days are still had but those will be few and far between as the place continues to get cleaned out. A few years ago that placed kicked ass and now it borderline sucks. CPR is what this place needs. Heartbreaking to see it's demise in just a few years.
