Its for dinner. Rolling thread.
« on: Feb 18, 2019, 06:45 PM »
Not sure about you guys but I love to cook what I catch, hunt, gather or grow. Ice fishing is no exception. Certain species go back and certain species go back with me. Cook it, take a picture, and post it. Maybe this will go no where but who cares. No need for a recipe but post it if you want. Name it and let others figure it out. Trial and error, just like fishing.

Here is my surprisingly off the charts potato leek soup made with cusk bones from my trip to NH. Just hope my wife doesnt find out the secret ingredient. Lol

Cusk stock

Potato leek soup

Just add water.

A recipe I made up myself: panfish baked in soy sauce, sake, crushed pineapple, ginger, and garlic over rice.

Hardwater fisherman since 2014. All opinions subject to change as experience increases.
