« on: Dec 07, 2007, 08:30 AM »
Hey there everyone

I'm new to iceshanty.com and ice fishing. Is there any good ice near the northeast corner for this weekend?

Not sure how thick, but there are people walking on the I-80 lakes West of N. Platte, as of Dec. 12th.

Went fishing on a sandpit pond today near Ogallala. 4-6 inches of ice and caught alot of bluegill and crappie. Caught a couple of big gills but the rest were were bout 4 to 5 inches.
