Rochester ny area 40inch pike

What body of water in Rochester region is best bet for 40inch pike and would they still go for bass minnows or should i buy dead mackerel

Wow you go from not catching any or barely any pike and now want one over 40”.ive fished over 30 years and got 1 over 40” pike.lots of 37”38”.i catch all my pike on golden shiners in all sizes and my 40” came on a small shiner and i forgot my mono leaders at home so i tied a hook right on my tipup line mainline.so pike are not line shy.

I mean i got a few

Also heard of a 38” out of braddocks and a 2 36” but was wondering if there were closer places then conesus that produce a lot of pike in that size
