Title: advice please

looking to take a trip into your fine state this winter and looking for some were in eastern SD to catch perch and northerns  not looking for anybodys honey hole just a place to start thanks in advance for the help

The game and fish should be posting their netting results any day now , I would start there . I know it does not cover all the lakes but is a good start

yes.  Its under the Tacklebox section of Fishing and Boating.  Usually the SE netting surveys are posted in Summer and NE posted in Fall.  It gives you and idea of what they found in surrounding lakes so helps determine what lakes might be good to try for the species you're targeting.
