East Central Iowa is just beginning to ice up and you can find the Iowa D.N.R.'s Fishing report here:

http://www.iowadnr.gov/Fishing/FishingReports.aspx

It is updated on Thursday of each week!

Enjoy and remember, "I'm a man, but I can change, if I have to......I guess!"

I love your state i'm from N.H.. Please BEAR  ??? with me i just joined. I'm not a person with a lot of money/just retired from prison work. Now the
questions. I'm looking for a place to stay and maybe ice fish close to a rental cabin maybe with a ice house/bobhouse. Now the problem is it going to
cost me 100.00 per nite plus 30.00 per nite for ice house plus bait. I'm only want caught and release with hopes of some action maybe pickerel/perch or bass. I'm a non drinker and non smoker looking for a location to hang my hat for a few weeks this winter. would it be wise to maybe rent a snow machine to get around to spots.
     Sincerely
Al Coburn

Should be enough ice, after tonight, with the wind chill factor/temps, going below zero, here to start to drive my truck out, on a local lake in my area, this weekend.

Ah ha....no wonder limited ice in the blues...no ice pack to
the Priboloffs in the Bering see...a warm winter in the
  Northern Hemisphere...
