Title: jig types and tips(minnows etc..) for pike plz??????

I need some tips on jigging for pike. Do you tip em' w/shiners or what? Do use use those Rapala jigs? I'm CONFUSED!!!!!! :-\ :-\ :-\ :'( :'( :'(

For pike, i tip large swedish pimples with minnows(3in)
I also use jigging raps, although u should not tip them because they will be unbalanced and not catch fish
Another favorite is the Rattlin Rap (similar to the rattle traps), also not tipped with anything

No problem, but if no one is responding, just post it on the new york forum, they are usually pretty quick

Tip ups are usually used for northerns, though, and dont forget that you should always fish within two feet of the bottom
