Coffee or hot choc. After fishing, beer and clamato juice, it gets rid of the dry mouth you get from beeing out in the cold dry air.

I don't drink alcohol when I fish.But, I drink a lot after I'm done.

I will take a few to eat something and drink ginger ale or coffee.If it's a get togeather on the ice just for fun,I'll have a few beers.Once in a while ,if it's slow I will have a beer.But my perfered drink is anything free! LOL

I generally bring a few Buds out on the ice. But I keep a bottle of Jameson in the sled as standard equipment.

And there are rare times when I'm sent out on the ice with a nice thermos full of hot chocolate, with or without the schnapps.

Hot water with honey in it. Where I fish in state parks and on reservoirs, alcohol is strictly forbidden though it doesn't stop everyone.

I am not crazy (a little) but if i need water and there is no water. Drill a hole and drink some 20 deg water. And i bring out hot chocolate or water.
