I haven't used it, so I don't know what their website is doing, but if you have Gmail you can add a period anywhere in your email address and you will still get the emails. Doing this will often allow you to create multiple accounts on websites or use a coupon multiple times. Give it a try!

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I’m retired from UPS. The stories I could tell. A word of advice: Always opt for another carrier when ordering fragile items. The absolute key to shipping is packing on all six sides.

My two rods showed up today. Double layered cardboard.  Rods secured nicely inside.  Packaging was clean and delivered by UPS.  Sorry to hear yours was not the same.

I've gotten all my PF stuff EXCEPT the first 2 open water rods I ordered. Says they shipped and I haven't gotten a refund, so hopefully USPS is just being slow with large packages. 🤷‍♂️

I'm guessing that is the case, since I already got all the other smaller stuff that was part of those same orders... gotta love shipping in December. Both of them are Xmas presents, so I'm not too worried about it yet since I have another full week for them to arrive.

Just worked for me again, 2nd time.  Got me a Berkley ice rod case for $50 instead of $100.  If it isn't great, I won't have such a sore a** over it.  I've been using a Plano rifle case for 4-5 combos but its so damn long I can't put it in my shack.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but check your local Home Depot for Milwaukee clearance items.  Mine has 5 kits of the 2997-22 which includes the 2804-20 hammer drill, impact driver, 2 5.0AH batteries, charger, and case.  These are the 3rd generation drills, not the "new" 2904, but they'll spin an auger perfeectly fine.  A single 5.0AH battery at Home Depot is $159, so this is a great deal if your store has them!

I contemplated picking them up to flip on eBay, but with the new IRS reporting rules where eBay has to report total sales over $600 makes it less appealing.
