Best time of the season for deals will be this month? I think that at some point, whatever is left in inventory goes back in the closet or into full retail price mode if online.

It is a bit of a gamble to wait for better deals and likewise, will you still want the item come next season? Or... will what you are buying be superseded by a newer / updated model or better options come 2022-2023 season including price drops on older model gear?

I got a frabill recruit from Amazon that was used, damaged package, box was reworked but everything inside was new unused. Dirt cheap. On another one I got a return frabill rod and inline reel, the rod was perfect but a broken reel stem . Buyer beware I guess
