How does one get permission to the WY ice report page? I click the link above and it says i don't have permission to see the forum.

I think you have to have so many posts before you can see it.  Helps keep people engaged instead of looking for a handout

Someone correct me if I’m wrong

If I remember right it is 3 posts then you get your permission to access that side of the site. Everyone that was a member when the page was set up agreed to have it that way so it made so people would post and not just swing by and check and never help out on reporting.

3 posts doesn’t seem like a lot.   I’m not a big poster but would contribute more if needed to keep in “ good standing”

This year will be interesting. I know fishing this summer and fall, the water levels were so low in all the lakes across the state, it was new terrain. At laborday the flaming gorge had over 100 yards of shoreline exposed that is typically underwater. In october, hawk springs was down about 200 yards. Very little water left in that lake.

I think he wants to unlock the reports and conditions board and that he thinks there is more than what he thought it could be for the forum.

But anyways we have about a foot of snow here around Riverton how did everyone else fair?

Only around ½ inch of snow in Lovell and probably just a little more in Greybull. Glad we didn't get what the Riverton area got!

Was just in Riverton right before Thanksgiving before the storm hit- weather was nice when I left. Crazy how much snow you guys got! Got an inch or two in Gillette but it’s already mostly gone

Snow and then cold Temps to build some good ice. Last year was fishing the weekend of good Friday with ice on the lake for a week or more. The wind is moving the snow around this morning so that will not help some of the ice around. But some of the snow went away with highs around 30 yesterday see what the 40's next week will do with it all.
